During the coming TodaysArt Festival in The Hague, 22-23 Sep 2017, many different events will take place involving ArtScience alumni (or students, or other affiliates), all of them worth visiting!

First, there is the exhibition Locating ArtScience in The Grey Space in the Middle, Paviljoensgracht 20-24, The Hague, with works by ArtScience alumni Manuel Beltrán (Bachelor alumnus, now Master student), Mischa Daams (Master alumnus), Mike Reinierse (Bachelor alumnus), Gabey Tjon a Tham (Master alumna), Philip Vermeulen (Bachelor alumnus) and Rob Bothof (studied ArtScience Master briefly), plus Bat-Erdene Batchuluun (TodaysArt Resident). The opening (on Wed 20 Sep!) will include a performance by Bardo Frings (Bachelor alumnus) and a short introduction talk by Taconis Stolk (Head of Department, B/M alumnus). On Fri 22 Sep (16.30h) a lecture about the quest of ‘locating ArtScience’ will given by ArtScience teacher Eric Kluitenberg, followed by discussion.

Then there is Performance, Objects, Bodies, apart from within TodaysArt a part of the Connect the Dots project by iii in Quartair, Toussaintkade 55, The Hague. This exhibition runs from Fri 15 Sep until 07 Oct and also includes nearly only ArtScience alumni: Natali Blugerman (Bachelor alumna), Marit Mihklepp (Master alumna) and Ludmila Rodrigues (Bachelor alumna) plus Catinca Tilea.

Other ArtScientists included in the TodaysArt programme are Ingrid Lee & Natela Lemondzhava (both Master alumni) and Maarten Brijker (current Master student). Projects by former or current ArtScience guest teachers include Chris Salter & TeZ, Evelina Domnitch & Dmitry Gelfand and Jonas Lund.

So — see you at the festival!
